The Americans with Disabilities Act emphasizes individual abilities rather than disabilities, as well as protects the employment and access rights of impaired individuals.
All candidates for employment and existing employees must inform either the Appropriate University Office (AUO) or their supervisor within 24 hours of any criminal arrests, criminal charges, or criminal convictions.
The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is a benefit that allows qualified employees to have up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave per fiscal year. Employees on maternity or paternity leave that do not qualify for FMLA qualify for Parental Leave.
